HOW WE DO IT, WHAT WE’VE INVESTED, AND HOW YOU CAN INVEST 

Now that you know how we started, here’s how we do it. We haul our 100 pound portable rig along with our microphone arrays to wherever we’re going to record, and spend from two to five hours recording, depending on how much time we can get. In the case of the indoor shooting range and the churches, we were under a time limit of about two hours per session. The indoor shooting range proved to be the most difficult; we had to go back several times to get the sound under control. We spent a total of ten hours at the range in five separate two hour sessions. We wound up dumping a lot of those indoor shooting range sessions because the audio just wasn’t good enough. We had to get it right - we had to get the best sound possible. 

When the recording is done we take the rig back to the studio and spend the next week or two listening to everything and deciding which parts are best for the collection we’re assembling. You’re quite literally getting the best of the best – the tracks we thought were the most interesting and most useful.

 One of the key features of this collection is that all of these recordings are brand new – no one has had them before now. We’re not a big company – we have about three people working for us and only one is full time. Everything we’ve done so far has been on spec – we’ve invested a lot of time, money and passion into this collection.   

We also believe that you are our biggest investor. When you purchase a copy of Quantum Audio Mechanics or Childspeak or any of our other products, you’re investing in our ability to continue. We don’t have a massive corporation behind us; we don’t have financial backing from Wall Street or anyone else. The only way we can continue is when you invest in us by purchasing the product.

 Which leads us to a simple request – even though we know that by delivering the audio files on a hard drive we’ve made it ridiculously easy to make duplicate copies of the library – please don’t do it!  Purchase extra copies instead. We’ve really tried to make this collection hugely affordable, and friendly to any budget.
